| The sprawling stretch of seashore is home to exceptional natural grottos. The project's design has fully preserved these natural treasures, adding to their appeal by transforming their interiors into bars, kitchens and various leisure outlets depending on the season. Nature preservation took precedence as an underlying guideline in the resort's master plan. It is an expression of its architects' desire to integrate the project within the natural setting. Says Supervision Architect Karl Zouein: "This environmental guideline was vital in designing the project as the site is a UNSECO-protected area. Even the area's vegetation was preserved, and the vegetation added is of native species to preserve the site's natural heritage". |
